Koshland, Jr., of Lafayette, professor of biochemistry, UC Berkeley; Gerard Piel, editor and publisher of "Scientific American" and Regents' Lecturer at UCSC in 1971; and Charles P. Sclichter, professor of physics, University of Illinois."
